CHALLENGE 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The BCN Sports Film 2026 will take place in Barcelona on dates yet to be determined during the first quarter of 2026. In this sixteenth edition, the festival will have a competitive nature.<\/p>\n<p>The sixteenth edition of the festival will have a hybrid format so, there will be face-to-face screenings and online screenings. The rights that the authors assign, therefore, are both for the face-to-face sessions that are held in the official venues of the contest, as well as for the sessions that will be held online through an online platform.<\/p>\n<p>These Rules &amp; Regulations have been approved by the BCN Sports Film 2026 Organising Committee. Any other potential screening on different channels will require negotiation of rights between the involved entities. The BCN Sports Film Festival organization may assist in this negotiation process.<\/li>\n<li>Winning productions will enter the final phase of the WORLD FICTS CHALLENGE international circuit. Winners authorise the BCN Sports Film Festival 2026 Organising Committee to share their contact details to the WORLD FICTS CHALLENGE festival organizing committees. The organizers will not distribute any copies of the film to third parties without prior authorization from the producers or legal representatives.<\/li>\n<li>Awarded films and special mentions from the 2026 could be featured on the FILMIN platform (Spain) until 30 days after the end of the 2026 edition. Profits derived from their streaming on FILMIN will be remitted, via the Fundaci\u00f3 Barcelona Ol\u00edmpica (FBO), to the LICENSOR (producer or director of the screening).
