In 1901 there were at least four deaf major league baseball players – including three on the New York Giants alone. And yet, in the last hundred years there have only been a total of two deaf players. In this documentary, a hearing boy with a deaf brother investigates what was so different about the situation of deaf baseball players at the turn of the century – and what that means to him and to all of us.
