A Goal to Dream

A group of girls from remote north areas of Pakistan come together to form a football team and prove that sport can be a powerful tool to break gender barriers and make a huge change in the society.

The girls face numerous adversities to achieve their dream: the creation of the first girls’ football academy in the Yasin Valley.

Pakistan is ranked 145th out of 146 countries according to the “Gender Gap Index” 2022. The 146th is Afghanistan.
