“And the winners are” brings the 16th edition of the BCN Sports Film Festival to a close at Cinemes Girona
This Tuesday, 3 March, at 6:00 pm, Cinemes Girona hosted the final screening of the 16th edition of the BCN Sports Film Festival: “And the winners are”, a special session featuring a selection of this year’s award-winning and standout films from the festival’s line-up.
The session closed the festival by celebrating different stories connected by a shared thread: sport as a source of emotion, identity and resilience—and cinema as a space to experience them together.
The event was also attended by Sofia Ponce (programmer at MECAL) and the directing and producing team of the film “Following the Dream”, who joined the audience for this final festival gathering in Barcelona.
