An old newsreel reports on a sports championship highlighting the rivalship of three athletes: Clemente, Leonardo, and ElĂas. The race ends with Clemente winning the race before the other competitors fall. Some years later, Clemente lives alone in an old house, remembering all his past triumphs. His life is monotonous until the moment he has to go out to buy bread. In the corridor, he confronts his old rivals, competing to get first to the bakery owned by the charming Gloria. Their exhausting race gets complicated when they are overtaken by two kids playing in the courtyard. So history repeats itself as Elias and Leonardo fall, giving Clemente the chance to change the past and reconcile with the present.
