More than 1,000 students at the BCN Sports Film Festival school sessions
The BCN Sports Film Festival 2025 has successfully hosted its free school sessions, welcoming more than 1,000 students to the Museu Olímpic i de l’Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch. Throughout these days, students have enjoyed a selection of short films and documentaries that promote values such as effort, resilience, and teamwork through sports cinema.
Special collaboration with the Red Cross
One of the highlights of this edition was the special session in collaboration with the Red Cross, featuring Josep Masip. This screening provided a space for reflection on the importance of inclusion and solidarity in sports within contexts of war, migration, and dreams, using cinema as an educational and transformative tool.
Following Thursday’s screenings, a debate was held where students had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of bravery, migration, sports, and social change, gaining valuable insights into social and humanitarian issues.
The BCN Sports Film Festival 2025 school sessions have welcomed more than 1,000 students, offering them a unique opportunity to reflect on values such as overcoming obstacles, inclusion, diversity, and teamwork through sports cinema.
With screenings adapted to each age group and educational materials developed by FilmClub, these sessions have established themselves as an essential educational tool for schools and institutes.
