This session explores different ways of understanding the pedal, from the epic legacy of Eddy Merckx to the most poetic and human perspectives of those who live the bicycle as a way of life. On the eve of the Grand Départ of the 2026 Tour de France in Barcelona, “The Heartbeat of the Tour” pays homage to the silent heroes of the asphalt and to the passion that turns every kilometre into an adventure.
