Announcing the Official Jury of the BCN Sports Film Festival 2025
The BCN Sports Film Festival 2025 has appointed its official jury, a group of distinguished professionals who will evaluate the productions submitted for the 15th edition of the festival, which will take place from February 17 to 25, 2025.
JURY MEMBERS
Emma Mussoll: A writer and screenwriter with experience in creative writing and sound fiction consulting. She has a solid career as a screenwriter.
Margi Villa del Priore: An actress, director, and artistic director with over 15 years in the film industry. She has received numerous awards for her work in acting and directing.
Martí Niubò: Director of strategic planning and innovation at the Institut Barcelona Esports and Secretary of the Municipal Sports Council of Barcelona. He has led important strategic plans for sports in Barcelona, including the recent launch of the Barcelona Sport Hub.
Montse Rodríguez: A cinema enthusiast and public relations expert, she has worked on short films and collaborated with the Girona Film Festival. Currently, she is a freelance journalist and correspondent at various festivals.
Sergi Martí: A director and screenwriter who has worked through various stages of post-production, dedicating himself to scriptwriting, short film production, and editing documentaries and animated shorts.
AWARDS IN COMPETITION
The jury will be responsible for selecting the productions competing for the following prestigious awards at the festival:
- Best Animated Film
- Best Adventure Sports Film – Álvaro Bultó
- Best Catalan Production
- Award for Sport and Society
- Best Documentary
- Best Fiction Film
- Ánfora City of Barcelona for Best Film
- Special Jury Award
The closing ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 24, at the Museu Olímpic i de l’Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch.
