The Official Jury selects the winners of the 16th edition of the BCN Sports Film Festival

The Official Jury of the BCN Sports Film Festival 2026 meets tonight to evaluate the finalist works and decide the awards of this 16th edition. Five leading professionals from the fields of film, communication and sport contribute their expertise to select the winning productions. 

 

This year’s jury is composed of: 

Janine Piguet, scientist, actress and director focused on social issues. 

Laura Yuste, acting coach with extensive experience in performance and casting. 

Marta Brichs, director and location scout, awarded for her documentary Marina. 

Martí Niubò, head of strategic planning and innovation at the Institut Barcelona Esports. 

Masih Sharif, director of the Travel Film Awards and expert in creative media and sustainable tourism.
