13-year-old Andrea, who recently lost her sight, is starting the day with her parents’ assistance. Without hesitation, she lets them help her to change, shower, comb her hair, have breakfast and brush her teeth. Once they’ve finished, Andrea sits on a chair beside a window. Xavier and Ona, Andrea’s parents, quietly discuss what to do with their daughter, while Andrea, without knowing what they’re talking about, senses that something’s going on.
Xavier tells Ona that they have to get her to wake up and that they both have to go to work. They decide to leave her alone at home for a while to see if, by necessity, she’s able to get her act together.
