School sessions are back at the Museu Olímpic!
After last year’s edition, which could not offer face-to-face educational sessions due to the restrictions resulting from the pandemic, this year they have returned stronger than ever. The Museu Olímpic i de l’Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch has hosted eight school groups, following the appropriate measures.
The Museu Olímpic i de l’Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch has hosted the first school sessions, which have had a very positive reception. A total of eight school groups have been able to work and reflect on issues such as immigration, health, stereotypes, performance, bullying or gender diversity.
In order to create a safe space, these groups are limited to a maximum of 30 people and different schools are not mixed. In addition, the sessions are divided according to age and are free of charge for primary, secondary and high school students.
Thanks to FILMCLUB, an organization that promotes learning through audiovisuals, the group of schoolchildren was able to work with educational dossiers on the different values provided by sport, according to the themes and ages of each session.
The day ended with a free visit to the Olympic Museum so that the children could enjoy the different exhibitions and spaces offered.
These school sessions will be held in person until Wednesday, February 17 from 10 am to 2 pm and virtually until March 15. In both cases you can make a free reservation through our official website.
