Canción maldita

Soul Mountain is a project that merges music and Alpine climbing, two disciplines that may seem quite far apart at first sight.

However, for Jordi Mestre, music and the mountains have always been very closely related, and out of this idea is born his most personal project.

The search for a way to combine these two great passions is what led the musician born in Lleida to develop his project. A project that could lead him to perform and record his music at the top of his favourite peaks in the Pyrenees.

These creations are always carried out in accordance with the high mountain environment that surrounds the project, trying to raise awareness and highlight the preservation of nature and culture as two of the basic pillars necessary for a better future.

Soul Mountain is a unique and groundbreaking project that takes the recording of self-composed music to peaks of over 3,000 metres above sea level.

In this last recording, the Aranese singer Alidé Sans and the mountain guide Dani Santorens join the Soul Mountain team. This is the filming at the highest altitude, climbing the Collado Maldito (3200 m.), after reaching the glacier of the Aneto. All this has been possible thanks to the sponsorship of the County Council of Huesca.

This new video aims to continue to raise the awareness of the audience with a clear and forceful message: “A song of responsibility and hope””.
