Perico Delgado and Pedro Nicanor will attend the BCN Sports Film Festival to present their production “Summer is Over”

Perico Delgado, Spanish cyclist, and Pedro Nicanor, director of ‘Summer is over’, confirm their attendance to the “Fusion” session of the BCN Sports Film Festival. Both will join the festival to present their short fiction film. The session will be screened at the Centre Cívic Bon Pastor on Friday, February 23rd at 7 p.m. Admission is free!

 

The BCN Sports Film Festival is pleased to announce the special attendance of Perico Delgado, a Spanish cycling legend, at the “Fusion” session. The confirmation comes directly from director Pedro Nicanor, who will also be present to present his acclaimed short film Summer is over.

 

Summer is over is a Spanish fiction short film that follows the story of Julio Jimenez, an adventurer who travels with his motorcycle from town to town participating in small cycling races. As the summer comes to an end, Julio finds himself involved in one last big race, where he discovers that the KAS team, who previously rejected him, will participate. Julio is faced with the challenge of proving that one man can beat an entire team of professionals.

 

This special presentation will be a unique opportunity to enjoy sports cinema and get to know a cycling legend up close. Perico Delgado was a specialist in long-distance and mountain races, winning a Tour de France and twice the Vuelta España. He also won numerous stage victories in these and other important competitions. Perico is considered one of the best Spanish cyclists of all time. 

 

In addition to Summer is over, the “Fusion” session will screen 7 more short films that will teach the values and rules of sports through humor and self-improvement.
